History

The RedIron team has a successful 15 year track record in Retail Store Systems Development, having been building and implementing store systems worldwide since 1994. Their focus was on building and deploying point-of-sale, back-store and enterprise systems for major hardware/software manufacturers such as Siemens Nixdof and Digital Equipment Corporation for global distribution. Their focus was on high performance in-store systems for major retailers operating in the general merchandise, DIY building center, footwear, and fashion markets.

The team joined together in 2000 to form RedIron, where their initial focus was on software product development and implementation projects for several major retail software manufacturers such as Triversity, Retek, 360 Commerce, Oracle and SAP. The company has an outstanding success rate across a portfolio of retail product development, customization and implementation projects that includes hundreds of projects for well known retailers.

Today RedIron focuses on implementation, customization and development of ancillary products for SAP's Point-Of-Sale and Enterprise Point-Of-Sale product set. It is certified by SAP to implement these products - either independently or as part of the joint effort with the SAP services team. SAP's POS systems have been reliably running the lanes for retailers around the world for decades.

Together with SAP, RedIron developed the innovative "RapidStore" solution for store systems. RapidStore is a unique combination of products, processes, people and services that - together - will take you from zero to implementation in 16 weeks.
