Pinpad & Signature Capture Extensions: RedIron's 2Capture extension is a standard pinpad & signature capture plug-in that supports the latest devices from Verifone and Ingenico. Whether it's the Ingenico MX8 series from Verifone or the 67xx series from Ingenico (CHECK - Ingenico mentioned twice) this component installs quickly, comes up instantly and provides full featured pinpad and or signature capture functions. This is an external plug-in that requires NO coding or modifications to SAP POS or EPOS software.\
Payments / Electronic Funds Extensions: RedIron's 2Authorize extension supports electronic payments, authorization, settlement & activation. RedIron supports all electronic tenders including debit; credit; dual cards; check authorization; contactless; gift card; SVC cards; 3 rd party gift cards; gift certificates; store/ house account charges; coupons; phone card activations and more.

All common payment providers are supported, including First Data, Chase Paymentech, Global Payments, Elavon, Emergis, Fifth Third, Heartland Payment Systems, Moneris Solutions, NCR, RBSLynk, TD Commercial Banking, Vital TSYS Acquiring Solutions and more. PCI Extensions: RedIron's 2Encrypt extension provides full out-of-the-box encryption and automated key management support that protects sensitive customer and cardholder data throughout the store and enterprise environment. This is an external solution that installs with the existing software & hardware base and requires no code modifications. Once implemented, 2Encrpyt works at the data interception layer to encrypt and decrypt sensitive data "on-the-fly". Encryption keys are automatically created and changed according to the schedule specified by the retailer, with all encryption ciphers being supported.

2Encrypt not only protects data at the store level - but can be deployed throughout the enterprise to protect data as it is transmitted or anywhere it is stored "at rest". This means that the same mechanism can be used to protect data as it flows through store technology, polling servers, transformation servers, backup restore mechanisms and all enterprise systems. This software works independently from business applications - so there is no need to decrypt / re-encrypt as data moves about the enterprise or to purchase separate solutions for each business system that deals with sensitive data

Device Lockdown Extension: RedIron's 2Prevent is a platform or device lockdown component for devices running Windows-based operating systems. This extension reliably prevents unauthorized access to all restricted Windows features such as the desktop, storage, devices, networking, and registry.

This is an external solution that installs with the existing software & hardware base and requires no code modifications.

Once installed, it prevents the fraudulent manipulation of business transactions, as well as support issues and costs arising from unauthorized or inadvertent damage to the contents of the device. Other features include an enhanced, focused user interface, and control of authorized business applications. It also allows browser and communications applications - like email or messaging - to be implemented and controlled in a secure environment.

2Prevent is an inexpensive, highly efficient approach to preventing malicious and inadvertent tampering with resources on devices by customers, employees and others. It is not a Windows Policies solution; Windows policies solutions are error prone, costly and cumbersome to implement and manage. 2Prevent is a simple solution that readily allows authorized users to use business applications for their intended purpose and readily prevents unauthorized usage and access. Plus, 2Prevent allows authorized support personnel to easily access devices to provide support when and where necessary.
Integration Extensions: RedIron provides a full suite of coded adaptors and extensions that provide Rapid integration of POS systems to enterprise systems and EFT providers. This is an external solution that installs with existing software & hardware base and requires no code modifications to POS or EPOS applications or to enterprise systems.

RedIron provides drop-in images "out of the box" of all of the required software and component plug-ins required for messaging and file transfer interfaces. Pre-coded adaptors for all outbound and inbound data flows are provided, as well as polling; transformation and messaging engines that support all types of data exchange requirements. For custom integrations or transformations, RedIron provides high level ETL tools that can be used to rapidly create custom integration points. Software Distribution Extensions: The distribution of software and related components, objects and files efficiently and reliably across the system can often create problems. RedIron's 2Deploy solution provides software deployment components that simplify building and distribution of deployment packages to remote devices on the system.

Deployments can controlled through a toolset that allows deployment packages to be build using drag and drop techniques to build the package on a deployment server. And 2Deploy offers a toolset for building device profiles that ensure distribution and installation of packages on the appropriate devices.
RedIron User Exit Extensions: The RedIron extension base includes adaptors and business objects that allow for customized SAP POS implementations, while preserving the ability to upgrade to newer versions of SAP POS without having to retrofit the original customizations.

RedIron builds user customizations using the SAP supported User Exits and SDK. This unique approach eliminates the problem of landing on an isolated "island" of the software that can't take advantage of new releases and the inherent fixes and new features available in the new release.
